Victoria Physical Therapy exists to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art, community based out-patient physical therapy services. Services will be provided, as prescribed by the referring physician, to patients with temporary and chronic disabilities, in order for these patients to obtain maximum therapeutic benefits. Victoria Physical Therapy is a privately owned physical therapy practice. We perform only out-patient physical therapy rehabilitation services.
Established in 1971 by David W. Drost, P.T., Victoria Physical Therapy is Victoria’s first independent physical therapy practice. We bring over 100 years of combined experience to the field through our licensed physical therapists David W. Drost, Mary E. Drost and Gatha N. Wilson.
Victoria Physical Therapy is a center of excellence in the Victoria medical community, promoting recovery and wellness. Victoria Physical Therapy offers full physical therapy services specializing in out-patient rehabilitation for orthopedics, sports injuries, geriatric and injured workers cases. Our entire staff is committed to ensuring that each patient obtains their maximum therapeutic benefit by providing a safe, friendly environment that encourages the patient’s speedy recovery.
Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO), the oldest independent company measuring outpatient outcomes, provides a voluntary program that Victoria Physical Therapy has chosen to participate in. This program, a physician quality reporting initiative, allows professionals who successfully report quality data related to their services to become eligible for incentives concerning the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. It also enables these professional service providers to be measured and compared to their peers in different areas.
Victoria Physical Therapy received a certificate of excellence for our performance in one of these areas. Our ranking for functional status change (an average measure of all our patients’ improvement under our care) exceeded the national average for functional status change scores.
